clipped them to the max length Waze offers (probably not needed though!).When I open the created voice and test, everything works, but when driving, it's the default voice everywhere.
I suspect it's because of the encoding (AAC and Lame Encoders on my PC) but slowly getting burnt out by this. My files just won't work when it comes to driving. Also, I created these voice-packs with Kilometers selected as my distance unit setting so for this to work you need to set your settings to Kilometers as well. I'm sorry I did not create all voice-packs the original post had. Finally, I got an idea, I remembered I got a rooted phone some years ago, booted it up, and used it to create "custom recorded voice packs" but I replaced the files with the new ones before saving thus not needing to overwrite any built-in voice-pack. As I do not intend to root my phone any time soon I tried for hours to figure out how to add these voice-packs back to my Waze. Although they did specify how to install, it required a rooted phone. Today I saw this post from 6 years ago ( here).
